Position Overview:
The Senior Clinical Consultant will play a pivotal role in the deployment, customer success, and optimization of IntelliSep technology within emergency departments (ED) across various healthcare systems. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, this role involves close collaboration with the sales team and customer stakeholders to ensure that IntelliSep is seamlessly integrated into clinical workflows. The Senior Clinical Consultant will act as a trusted advisor and trainer, focusing on assessing and enhancing emergency department workflows to drive customer success from pre-sales through post-implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Marketing Support:
Serve as a clinical resource during the pre-sales process, demonstrating the capabilities and benefits of IntelliSep technology.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Nursing, Physicians, and Quality leadership and end users, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for IntelliSep.
Support the discovery process to identify customer needs and develop customized solutions that address those needs within the ED environment.
Assist the sales team by delivering compelling presentations and demonstrations of IntelliSep technology tailored to the needs and key initiatives unique to each health system.
Present clinical evidence and outcomes to address potential concerns related to implementation, adoption and impact on patient outcomes.
Implementation and Customer Success:
Conduct individualized assessments of customer workflows, focusing on the emergency department to identify opportunities for workflow optimization with IntelliSep.
Provide comprehensive training and support to hospital staff across all disciplines and care areas to ensure high competence and confidence in using IntelliSep.
Ensure customers are fully prepared to meet project milestones, with comprehensive education and clear communication across all disciplines and care areas, leading to a seamless implementation and successful adoption of the IntelliSep solution.
Develop a thorough understanding and mastery of the customer’s sepsis screening tools, alert algorithms, order sets, and hospital-defined processes and clinical pathways to effectively support inquiries and manage change, ensuring optimal performance and high customer satisfaction in the emergency care setting.
Provide ongoing consultation and support to ensure customer success, with a focus on maximizing the clinical and operational value of IntelliSep in the ED.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
Maintain an astute and proactive approach, continuously studying industry trends in sepsis detection and treatment, as well as health system initiatives. Link clinical challenges, emerging trends, and unmet needs in emergency care to Cytovale solutions, supporting continuous enhancements in our messaging, tools, and services.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Medical Affairs teams to provide field insights that drive solution enhancements and innovation.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to refine deployment strategies and customer support processes.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; an advanced degree is preferred.
10+ years of experience in clinical consulting, customer success, or implementation roles within the medical device or diagnostics industry.
Demonstrated expertise in managing complex technology implementations and delivering strategic guidance across multiple clinical disciplines and care areas, including presenting to and engaging with C-suite executives.
Experience with process optimization, change management, and driving adoption of new technologies in clinical environments.
Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities; solutions-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
Nursing Leadership experience or Advanced Practice Nursing Degree.
Experience working with Physicians, Hospital Administration, and Emergency Department leaders and staff.
Understanding CMS core measures, SEP 1 Compliance metrics, billing, coding and reimbursement.
Familiarity with sepsis detection technologies and tools.
Experience working with FDA-regulated technology, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory guidelines, maintaining high-quality standards, and effectively navigating compliance throughout pre-sales engagement, implementation, and post-implementation support.
Travel Requirements:
This position is a field-based role that requires extensive travel, with an expectation of 80% travel to customer sites, conferences, and meetings.
