Sr. Associate General Counsel, Real Estate

Job SummaryReview and provide legal and business advice for corporate and business matters.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead complex global real estate transactions for the Legal department, including acquisitions, leases, and joint ventures.Review, draft, and negotiate commercial leases and construction agreements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support real estate and construction initiatives.Manage legal risk, due diligence, and compliance in alignment with corporate standards.Support global real estate strategy across diverse markets.Work with limited supervision, developing resolutions to critical issues and broad design matters.Exercise wide latitude in determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.Engage in creative problem solving, manage internal customer relationships, understand strategic vision, and execute goals of strategy, including management of outside counsel and budgeting for legal matters.Manage higher level risk, complexity, and business impact.Recommend and drive best practices.May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Job QualificationsExpert in the field.Good oral and written communication, good judgement, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a changing, fast-paced, and energetic environment.Strong work ethic, motivated self-starter, ability to resolve conflict, business acumen with a business-oriented approach to problem solving, and the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands.Education and ExperienceMinimum of 15 years of legal experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.Graduate of an ABA or foreign equivalent law school, member of a bar in good standing, eligible to practice law in jurisdiction.Or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
