Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on litigation experience, strong legal research and writing skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis on complex litigation matters.Handle discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.Take and defend depositions of witnesses and experts.Conduct witness interviews and prepare witness statements.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Prepare for and argue motions in court.Assist in trial preparation and strategy.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the California State Bar, in good standing.3+ years of solid litigation experience, preferably including commercial litigation, trial, or white collar and investigations.Prior experience as a judicial law clerk is a plus.Excellent legal writing and research skills.Strong oral advocacy skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and the court.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Effective problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to client and team needs.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the California State Bar.Skills:Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Collaborative team player with the flexibility to engage across various practice areas.Ability to develop creative solutions to legal challenges.Competitive salary based on experience.Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance.Retirement savings plan.Professional development opportunities and mentorship programs.Company info
