The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

Key Responsibilities:

Work with RMs across Americas platform to target acquisition related financing opportunities:

Identify likely acquirors and targets;

Perform supporting analysis underlying the acquisition opportunity and financial metrics for credit evaluation;

Advise RMs and product groups on acquisition structure and process;

Solicit business from clients to position MUFG to maximize the economics from event driven financing transactions.

Generate acquisition finance revenues comprised of lending, capital market and advisory fees.

Support overall development and enhancement of client relationships in partnership with RMs – position MUFG with client as top tier financial institution.

Support coverage of private equity sponsors related to financing opportunities including coordination effort internally around sponsor selection and outreach, develop relationships with key parties at sponsors.

Support overall development and enhancement of private equity client relationships in partnership with RMs to position MUFG with sponsors as top tier financial institution.

Assist in generating inbound event driven financing, coordinating with USWB coverage RMs, PMG, Leveraged Finance and other product groups to facilitate corporate and sponsor related financing transactions and ensure timely response and requisite approvals.

Assist with executing financing transactions, generating revenue through lending, advisory, capital markets and related fee opportunities.

Job responsibilities include frequent business development meetings with clients to assist in supporting relationship management development for BTMU Securities and generating referral opportunities for MUFG Americas Corporate Advisor and executing M & A transactions.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferable;

M & A structuring, valuation and financing analysis training.

Series 7/79, 63, 24.

Strong history of client support in the corporate / private equity sector.

Strong client presentation and management skills.

Minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in investment banking, postgraduate.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $187k - $237k depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
