About the Position:We are working with a Midwest-based national law firm that has an immediate need for a corporate M&A attorney to join its Chicago office as an associate. This practice represents private and public companies in complex corporate transactions and regularly handles multimillion- and multibillion-dollar deals.Highlights:· Named a Best Law Firm in the Midwest by Vault Law· Firm has a committee dedicated to helping women attorneys with business development and career advancement· Strong community and pro-bono initiatives· Firm was recognized in the BTI Consulting Group’s Elite Client Service rankingsResponsibilities:· Represent public and private companies, as well as financial sponsors, in corporate transactions· Handle divestitures, strategic joint ventures, entity formation, financing and restructuring mattersRequired Qualifications:· 3 or more years of corporate M&A experience· Experience with joint ventures, entity formation, governance, divestitures, financing and restructuring
