Pay rate $20-$30hrA client of Insight Global is looking for a PC/Desktop Support technician to work onsite 5 days a week in Columbus, Ohio. Seeking PC Technician with primary responsibilities around desktop support, imaging and customers service. Performs basic workstation troubleshooting and maintenance by collection of information to respond and or resolve routine tier 1 & 2 problems. May be used from time to time to support the ITS Call Center when needed. Basic Duties Provides telephone support related to networking or connectivity issues. Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications. Provides basic diagnosis, analysis and resolution of issues and customers). Independently images and or reimages equipment in preparation for deployment.

Required Skills & Experience

3+years experience in a helpdesk, PC/desktop support type role resolving routine tier 1 & 2 issuesExperience troubleshooting Windows 10 OS and Windows 11 OS. - Experience troubleshooting peripheral devices, including printers, scanners, and Apple mobile devicesExperience imaging and deploying machines, preferably using SCCM (similar tools are fine)Experience in installing and performing minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment - Candidate has ability to provide basic diagnosis, analysis and resolution of issues and customerExperience supporting uboth over the phone remotely, and in personExperience with telephone support related to networking or connectivity issuesWorked on a Windows deployment. refresh of end point hardware/Windows migrationExcellent soft skills and customer service

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

VDI Experience SCCM Imaging Experience with Microsoft Intune preferred but not required Experience with Microsoft Windows Autopilot preferred but not required
