We are seeking a
Board Certified
or
Board Eligible
Orthopedic Surgeon for a locum tenens assignment. This high-volume practice requires a surgeon comfortable treating a wide variety of cases, with a focus on shoulders, knees, and minor trauma.
Qualifications:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery
Active South Carolina Medical License required
Active CSR and DEA (must be permanently registered in South Carolina)
Assignment Details:
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, no real ER call unless desired
Clinic Days:
Tuesdays and Thursdays, seeing 50-70 patients per day
OR Days:
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with 3-8 surgeries per day
Support Staff:
APP in the office, cast tech, nurse, x-ray tech, and scribe
Patient Demographics:
Young adults (including athletes) to geriatric patients
Procedures:
Shoulders, knees, minor trauma, fractures, ACLs, meniscus repairs (no hips, hands, foot, or ankle cases)
