Beaumont Behavioral Health (a UHS Facility)
A new, 144-bed behavioral health facility - Beaumont Behavioral Hospital provides a full continuum of inpatient services across the entire patient population, including specialty programs to serve adolescents, adults and older adults, and perform behavioral health assessments 24 hours a day. Additionally, programs for co-occurring behavioral health and substance use issues will be offered to meet the unique needs of this patient population. The facility provides a robust outpatient program utilizing a combination of group, family and individual therapy.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Generalist will assist the Director of Human Resources within the hospital. The Human Resource Generalist (HRG) is responsible for the timely completion of the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including: HRIS functions, entering compensation changes, and leave administration. Educates and enforces hospital policies and procedures. The HRG will actively assist in the full-cycle recruiting process, responsibilities include sourcing candidates through various channels, planning interview and selection procedures and hosting or participating in career events. To be successful in this role, you should be able to develop long-term recruiting strategies and nurture trusting relationships with potential hires. In addition, the HR Generalist will have additional responsibilities: conducting New Hire Orientation sessions, preparing new hire/general employee training packets and maintaining them in good supply, maintaining all personnel records and files, processing changes in Lawson, assisting in organizing all employee activities and in-services, and other duties as assigned or directed.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources or related field required.Experience

Three (3) years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.Additional Requirements:
Proficient with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Strong oral and written communication; working knowledge of employment law (federal, state, and local).
