Job Description Your Career This position requires the Senior Consultant to work directly with clients on cyber risk management initiatives and implement security monitoring and protection tools. The role involves conducting security audits, analyzing current monitoring capabilities, and assisting with developing security operations center (SOC) initiative roadmaps. The role also involves making recommendations to improve SOC performance. Conduct security audits of client's security operations program, processes, and technology. Analyze the level of monitoring and alerting within the enterprise and provide a gap analysis on log coverage. Perform cyber risk assessments using standards like MITRE ATT&CK, NIST 800-61r2, ISO 27001/2, PCI, and others. Assist with client implementations of security monitoring and endpoint/network protection tooling. Assist with developing SOC initiative roadmaps for clients to further secure their environments. Assist clients with making recommendations to improve SOC. Qualifications Your Experience 3 years of experience in information security advisement and risk assessments. 3 years of consulting experience in SOC, security engineering, SIEM administration, and incident management for large organizations. Technical knowledge in Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) platforms, Endpoint Protection and Response tools, Next GenFirewalls, Threat Intelligence, and/or Hunting platforms. Ability to travel as needed (on average 30%). Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Digital Forensics, Cyber Security or equivalent experience. The Team Unit 42 Consulting is Palo Alto Network's security advisory team, providing incident response, risk management, and digital forensic services. The team is experienced in delivering cybersecurity solutions and providing long-term support to improve clients' security posture.
