Requirements
5+ years of directly relevant experience; relevant Department of Defense financial management experience
Familiarity and understanding of Department of Defense Planning, Programming, Budgeting & Execution Process (PPBE)Familiarity and understanding of the Department of Defense accounting structure at the fund cite levelExperience using DAI OBIEE application to conduct data base queries and extract financial data in various report formats. Comparable database experience at a DoD Service Headquarters or Program Office may be considered in lieu of direct DAI experience.Experience with Military Interdepartmental Purchase Order (MIPR) generation, transactions and reconciliationsFamiliarity with Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Test & Evaluation (T&E), and Acquisition (AQ) communitiesExperience preparing executive level (SES or General Officer) briefing materialsExperience working with multiple military servicesStrong analytic, administrative, communication, computer, and organizational skillsSolid financial and planning skillsActive Secret Clearance

Description
Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of organizational budget at the program element and project levelCoordinate with Chief Financial Officer and/or Financial Management Directorate and execute all funding alignment/realignment in support of the annual budget cycleConduct research and coordination with external organizations (WHS FMD/DFAS/etc.) to resolve any prior year transaction discrepanciesConduct regular and ad hoc Department of Defense financial data base queries to generate reports capturing multi-year budget, execution, accounting and workflow data (DAI)Review and analyze financial reports and data for accuracy; identify, report, and corrects errors as requiredSupport budget formulation for Program Objective Memorandum (POM) inputsSupport Chief Financial Officer in development and entry of financial spend plans in support of current and future year financial executionDevelop spreadsheet and graphical representations of financial performance data using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint)Prepare executive level briefing products communicating critical financial performance metrics and trends using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint)Execute other duties as assigned by the CFO and/or Contractor Team Lead
