Dorman Products is seeking a Performance Testing Technician to join our growing Engineering Services team. As a Performance Testing Technician for Dorman, you will perform product testing for new product development and quality investigations. Testing includes, but is not limited to: hydrostatic, thermal, tensile, and electronics tests. Perform internal product performance testing in the laboratory and create documentation.Record data from testing in standard formats and provide results to product and engineering teams.Perform Dimensional Analysis using hand measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges).Maintain Lean/5S environment.Ability to problem solve.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications

Familiar with vehicle systems, including body and electronics, preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.Physical Requirement:

Capability to lift 40 pounds.Working Conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from one building to another, and speak and actively listen. Noise level is usually moderate.Education / Experience
