Senior Frontend Software Developer II

The Senior Frontend Developer II role is responsible for developing and maintaining scalable web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing front-end development best practices. Work with product managers and designers to refine requirements and UI/UX design before implementation.
Demonstrate technical leadership at a team level driving on time execution and software delivery.
Represent software development team's products technically to stakeholders.
Demonstrate ownership and responsibility for team products throughout their production lifecycles.
Interact with operations teams and other team members as needed to support correct product operation.
Develop code in a stateful web application framework (React/TypeScript).
Work with backend applications in Python on AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SMS, ECS, etc.
Employ best practices for API interactions with frontend web applications.
Make strong architectural choices through careful evaluation and prior experience.
Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to continually deliver features to stakeholders and clients.
Preferred Qualifications:7+ years of related job experience with a broad range of technical skills.
Desire to work in a health technology company.
Previous Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) experience preferred.
Git code management skills with experience working in a mono repository preferred.
Proficiency working in Linux using Bash, Zsh, Node.js, Python and similar tools.
Mastery of TypeScript, React and related state management techniques.
The ability to make components shine using minimal CSS, animations and transformations leveraging SCSS and styled-components.
Strong knowledge of unit testing across multiple paradigms.
Knowledge of integration testing using Playwright or a similar framework.
Experience writing tests in TypeScript with frameworks such as Jest, Jasmine, or Mocha.
Experience working with microservices or an API-based application paradigm.
A history of delivering complex web applications to the cloud.
Proficiency in developing against backends developed in Python (Flask/SQLAlchemy).
Aptitude for working with SQL databases.
Good written communication skills that enable collaboration in a remote environment.
Ability to work autonomously driving proactive collaboration to deliver results.
