Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Loader to join our team. This role involves operating forklifts and overhead cranes to load materials onto trucks, handling various materials such as fabricated metal components and structural steel beams, and ensuring safe and efficient loading practices.
Responsibilities
Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to load materials onto trucks.
Handle a variety of materials, including small fabricated metal components and large structural steel beams and columns.
Ensure safe and efficient loading practices.
Collaborate with team members to meet production and shipping deadlines.
Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions promptly.
Essential Skills
Previous experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes in an industrial setting.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in varying weather conditions.
Strong attention to safety protocols.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Industrial shop experience.
Forklift operation.
Crane operation.
Rigging and rigger skills.
Sit down forklift experience.

Work Environment
Our 180,000 sq ft single steel fabrication facility is one of the largest in the Pacific Northwest. We are AISC certified to work on high-rise buildings, bridges, marine, and other structural steel projects. We also hold an AISC Sophisticated Paint, Indoor endorsement QP3 (SPE) with extensive experience in applying surface treatments and paint. The position operates on a day shift schedule from Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
