With more than 130 years of financial experience and over 22,000 partners, we serve the world’s most sophisticated clients using leading technology and exceptional service.Major Duties:Support the completion of Northern Trust’s annual resolution planning activitiesEvaluate regulatory and internal requirements around resolution planningOperate as a subject matter expert for resolution planning, providing comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical levelGather and aggregate data; conduct financial analysesPrepare presentations, supporting template requirements and completing documentation of processes and resultsConduct financial analyses with both internal and external data, which may include topics in corporate finance and resolution planningOperate independently; have in-depth knowledge of the functionCarry out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficultBalance high level operational execution and development, and execution of strategic direction of business function activitiesStrategically develop, implement and administer programs within functional areaMonitor risks relative to functional area and deliver timely escalation of major issues to managerPerform quality control checks/secondary review to ensure accuracy of the dataKnowledge:Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail and accuracyStrong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills, the ability to both create and critically review and edit documentsExcellent marketing, relationship, facilitation and motivational skillsExposure to Project Management will be an added advantageComfortable acting as lead person in discussions with other NT functionsAbility to work independently and create solutions to business challengesAbility to understand and deal with complex issues and make recommendations for appropriate course of actionThe successful candidate will also demonstrate the following skillsAbility to work independently, while escalating complex issuesExecute efficiently and effectivelyLeadership and organizational skills are essential to prioritize assignments and provide feedback to managementExperience:A College or University degree and/or 7 to 10 years of relevant proven work experience in the financial industry is required.Working with Us:As a Northern Trust partner, greater achievements await.
