Depending on whether it is a part-time or full-time position, some of the benefits offered may include:Day 1 Medical/Dental/Vision for FT employees who work 30+ hours15 PTO days first yearPaid HolidaysAnnual Bonus Opportunity401(k) with matching contributionsVariable compensation plan (AIP) bonusEmployee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Blueprint for WellnessTuition Reimbursement for undergraduate and graduate programs for FT employees who work 30+ hoursOpportunities for career advancementTraining provided!Responsibilities:Under the direction of the Branch Manager or Field Leader, provide coverage in the field ensuring that mobile exams are completed accurately and on time.Maintain a safe and professional environment for applicants, clients, and employees.Perform all aspects of an insurance exam, including specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.Act as a coach, mentor, instructor, and resource person for new employees who have completed the required phlebotomy-training program.Key Responsibilities:Ensures all specimens are collected accurately and on time.Collect specimens according to established procedures.Conduct in-center exams and mobile exams, which include taking basic vitals, medical histories, venipuncture, urine collection, and EKG.Complete application packets and other paperwork accurately.Label, centrifuge, and split specimens as required by test order.Package specimens for transport.Transport Responsibilities:Safely transport specimens, supplies, equipment, and materials to the appropriate destination.Operate a company vehicle safely between collection site and testing site.Maintain records of each specimen collected each day.Provide customer service to clients.Record Maintenance:Maintain required records and paperwork.Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.Maintain all appropriate Phlebotomy logs.Assist with compilation of monthly statistics and data.Submit accurate time and travel logs as directed by management.Submit accurate expense forms, if applicable, on the required day.Organizational Commitment:Adhere to departmental and company code of grooming and dress code policies.Report on time to work, following attendance guidelines.Communicate appropriately with customers, agents, applicants, coworkers, and the general public.Report unresolved problems immediately to the appropriate Manager or Supervisor.Additional Responsibilities:Ensure facilities or work areas are neat, clean, and in good repair.Assist with periodic inventory counts and report shortages.Work effectively with staff employees to ensure compliance with dress code and customer service requirements.Perform other department-related clerical duties when assigned.Participate in teams and special projects when asked.Assist Manager or Supervisor with the implementation of SOPs.Travel and flexible hours required.All other duties as assigned, within the scope of the position.QUALIFICATIONSRequired Work Experience:Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience.Preferred Work Experience:Prefer urine or hair follicle collection and EKG experience.Physical and Mental Requirements:Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.Knowledge:Must be able to make decisions based on established procedures.The position requires the ability to effectively communicate in English.Skills:Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Demonstrates good organization and ability to manage concerns of patients and employees professionally.Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new software.EDUCATION:
