Our client, a well-regarded law firm with a dynamic civil litigation practice, is seeking a talented
Midlevel Associate Attorney
to join their California team
remotely . This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to work on both insurance bad faith and general liability matters in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a diverse caseload of
bad faith, fraud, and general liability matters
(including premises liability, personal injury, auto/trucking accidents, habitability, and construction defect cases).
Handle
50% bad faith
and
50% general liability
cases, with opportunities to focus on
Special Investigation Unit (SIU) claims .
Draft and review pleadings, motions, and legal documents.
Conduct depositions, attend hearings, and participate in trials.
Collaborate with senior attorneys on strategy, providing exceptional legal counsel and advocacy.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5-7 years
of civil litigation experience, with either
prior
experience
in
bad faith/SIU
matters or a strong background in
general liability
and an interest in expanding into bad faith litigation.
Must be Bar licensed
in
California , in good standing
Ability to work remotely with excellent self-management skills.
Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a remote setting.
