Salary:
$250,000.00 - $600,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of corporate and transactional issues including mergers and acquisitions and private equity deals.
Guide companies, private equity, and venture capital funds in strategic growth and structuring to optimize outcomes.
Lead negotiations and manage the execution of complex legal transactions ensuring alignment with corporate governance practices.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring continuous business growth and repeat business.
Collaborate closely with colleagues across different offices to ensure consistency and synergy in client service delivery.
Stay ahead of industry trends and legal requirements to provide cutting-edge counsel to businesses in diverse sectors.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
JD from a top-tier law school accompanied by a stellar academic record.
Admission to the Bar in good standing in at least one state.
10-15 years of experience in corporate/transactional law, particularly in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and corporate governance.
Strong track record of business development and the ability to bring some portable business.
Exceptional writing, analytical, and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a national or major regional law firm preferred.
Profound understanding and practical knowledge of securities regulation and compliance.
Demonstrated ability to manage teams and work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
A background in advising fast-growing tech companies is a plus.
Regional expertise in any of the states where the firm has offices, with existing client relationships.
