The Position
The opportunity:
The role will provide the integration of partnering and alliance activities from core business units and the digital business development team, and work closely with relevant departments and functional teams to ensure the partnering and alliance project can be delivered on time with high standard.
You will:
Work towards to ensure the business objectives of the commercial partnerships are achievedOwning the identification and selection of strategic partners, leading partnership deal negotiations, in-licensing, acquisition proposal, and alliance management. Engage with external parties to understand partner capabilities and partnership opportunitiesEnsure the projects are seamlessly coordinated into the planning and implementation of the RDSL strategy, implement project management from kickoff to rollout, take the responsibility of alliance management on 3rd party partnering projectLead cross function team in the preparation and running of the periodic governance and business review meetings for RDSL and counterpart from 3rd party(if vital), ensure the full oversight of the agreement execution, ensure that the alliance runs efficiently and effectively; improve the operational efficiency wherever possibleEstablish and maintain relevant partnering contacts/database with external partiesOwn project related documents and project analysis, and track project resources and supervise KPlIdentify/monitor/manage risks and mitigation plans along the project lifecycle
Who you are:
BS/BA and above in Life Sciences, Medical Informatics, Clinical Medicine, Lab Medicine or related subject area. MBA or equivalent qualification Preferred5+ years Business acumen-Proven track record of end-to-end deal structuring and alliance management. Ability to operate independently with minimal directionExtensive knowledge of IVD industry, pharma industry, Business Development processes and market researchWork experience in running sophisticated cross- functional team projects. Ability to communicate optimally in multiple functions (e.g., technology, business development, partnering, finance, operations and etc.)Strong experience in digital product management in an international context, life science/healthcare/biotech industry/chemicals experience is preferableProficiency in both spoken and written English and Mandarin, Capacity to develop and deliver high-quality presentations
