Practice Setting:

Outpatient clinic with 14-16 patients per dayTeam includes a full-time provider, PA-C, and occasional GI shiftsSupport staff includes 5 MAs and 7 office staff

Procedures and Cases:

Handle complex liver and GI cases, new referralsPerform and interpret upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopyIn-clinic procedures: Pill Cam interpretation, peg tube exchange, Hemoccult test, Lidocaine injections

Requirements:

Board certification in GastroenterologyLicensed in WA; IMLC not acceptedRequired certifications: ACLS, BLS

Credentialing Requirements:

60-90 days credentialing timeframeTemporary privileges available for those with a clean history
