We are seeking a Board-Certified Hematologist/Oncologist for a long-term locum tenens position. This role involves outpatient-only responsibilities, with support from a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP). The ideal candidate will commit to a minimum of one year.
Responsibilities:
Onsite coverage, 3 days per week (Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with flexibility).
Patient load of approximately 15 patients per day, handling a typical community-based hematology/oncology case mix.
Perform bone marrow biopsies, if desired.
No call responsibilities or non-heme/onc infusion duties.
Requirements:
License:
Active Pennsylvania state license
Board Status:
Board Certified in Medical Oncology
Certifications:
BLS and DEA required.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of hematology/oncology practice experience.
