Team ManagementSupervise, mentor, and train a team of loan officers to achieve individual and team production goalsAssign workloads and monitor performance to ensure team goals are metConduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedbackPromotes a work environment that encourages involvement, initiative and teamwork. Builds career development paths for assigned staff.Implement and oversee quality control measures for loan processingLoan Origination and ProcessingHandle complex and high-value loan applicationsEvaluate applicants' financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine loan eligibilityNegotiate loan terms and structure deals within company guidelinesEnsure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policiesBusiness DevelopmentDevelop and maintain relationships with key clients, real estate professionals, and other referral sourcesRepresent the company at industry events and conferencesIdentify market opportunities and contribute to the development of new loan productsOperational ExcellenceCollaborate with underwriting, processing, and closing teams to ensure smooth loan transactionsMonitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisionsContribute to the development and implementation of department policies and proceduresSkills:
Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in loan origination software and financial analysis tools.Strong knowledge of credit, credit scores and underwriting.Excellent analytical and math skills to help determine the best financial course of action for members.Reporting and Experience:Reports directly to Home & Consumer Lending LeadershipManagement oversight of external Mortgage Loan OfficersBA/BS in Finance, Business related field, or equivalent experienceActive Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license7+ years of experience as a loan officer, with at least 3 years in a senior or management roleProven track record of meeting or exceeding loan production targetsExtensive knowledge of mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements
Compensation

Base + Commission.
