This role will be responsible for building out the data and reporting ecosystem Homes.com Sales will use to assess and drive sales performance.You will work with a diverse range of stakeholders to design, build, maintain, and improve Sales data and business intelligence reporting products.This position is located in Richmond, VA and offers 4 days a week onsite with 1 day remote.ResponsibilitiesCollect and understand business requirements from a diverse set of end users.Analyze data structures, integrate, rationalize, transform, and optimize them for use in sales strategy analysis and business intelligence reporting.Develop automated scripts using SQL and other platforms to transform raw source data into informational datasets for use by analysts and reporting tools.Identify data accuracy and consistency opportunities and work with Technology and Sales partners to improve data capture and execute improvements.Develop easily usable dashboards and reports for end-users in tools beyond spreadsheets.Provide training on business intelligence tools to diverse sets of users.Monitor business intelligence solutions to ensure they are running smoothly and troubleshoot any issues that arise.Collect and integrate feedback from a diverse user base to continuously improve reporting.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college, with degree preferably in Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field.A track record of commitment to prior employers.2+ years of experience in data analytics or data science.2+ years of experience writing SQL queries and building business intelligence solutions like Tableau or PowerBI.Preferred QualificationsExpertise in at least one BI tool (MS PowerBI preferred).Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.Proficiency in data modeling techniques.Experience in query optimization, performance tuning, and process automation.Able to prioritize effectively and balance multiple concurrent projects.Ability to communicate with business as well as technical teams.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.What’s in it for YouWhen you join CoStar Group, you’ll experience a collaborative and innovative culture working alongside the best and brightest to empower our people and customers to succeed.We offer you generous compensation and performance-based incentives.
