Job description
ANG SIGNAL is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our team supporting the federal government. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for providing project management and IT services management support for on-premise and cloud IT environments. The successful candidate must have strong project management skills and IT technical knowledge that allow him to lead IT projects through the initiation, planning, execution and completion phases, and must be able to communicate technical details to senior management and leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Develop & update project plans for IT projects including project scope, objectives, schedule, funding, and staffing
Work with the team to ensure quality and stable solutions so that customers receive no interruption in service or product delivery
Develop risk management plans and define the tools and approaches that will be used to perform risk management activities
Define project scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with the team, government client, senior management and other stakeholders
Identify IT environmental and process improvements wherever applicable
Develop Standard Operations Procedures for a variety of tasks and ensure processes standards are being met
Analyze existing processes and make recommendations for improvement and growth
Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met
Lead Analysis of Alternatives and design phase activities
Attend status and projects meetings to discuss, schedule, prioritize tasks, and progress of projects
Influence, lead and serve a team of highly-skilled and experienced engineers and developers
Review customer satisfaction feedback and use constructive feedback as learning tools
Qualifications
10+ years of related work experience in a large scale IT environment
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Project management certification is required
Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Atlassian tool suite
IT Management and/or security certification
In-depth knowledge of IT security standards and best practices
Knowledge of NIST security standards and FISMA is preferred
Cloud certifications are preferred (e.g. AWS and GCP)
Experience with common AI/ML platforms is preferred (e.g. Sagemaker, Lex, Kendra, Aurora, TensorFlow, Databricks, etc.)
Strong leadership skills, personal drive, and ability to see projects through to execution in a matrixed environment
Strong organizational and mentoring skills
Possesses strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
