Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
We are currently seeking Warehouse Workers to ensure all non-hazardous waste (liquid/solid) is unloaded from vehicles/trucks, the vehicles are decontaminated, and waste is properly staged for scanning and processing. Individuals will be on their feet for an extended period of time. The individual will perform the following duties in a safe and productive manner.
Responsibilities
Unload non-hazardous waste from incoming vehicles/trucks.
Load sorted material from bins/pallets/boxes into vehicle/truck.
Sort non-hazardous material to designated sections.
Break down boxes the materials get delivered in.
Practice and maintain housekeeping issues, ensuring spills are cleaned up, the floor is dry, and debris is not on the floor, addressing these issues immediately.
Make sure boxes are sealed properly and pallets of boxes are secure using shrink wrap before transporting them out of the facility.
Assist in other areas of the plant operation as directed. All technicians will be cross-trained in all departments.
Cross-train in three different areas: D-Pak, Retail, and Distribution Center (DC).
Essential Skills
Basic Math Skills
Willing and able to lift 50+lbs independently
High School Diploma or GED
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous RCRA (Proper Disposal of Waste Materials) experience
Previous warehouse experience
Forklift experience

Work Environment
This is an inside working environment that is climate-controlled. There is a lot of activity in the warehouse, so workers need to be safety aware at all times. Forklifts are used to transport material in and out of the facility. This is a 10-day holding facility, meaning material must be processed and shipped out within that timeframe.
