Responsibilities: Daily Tasks: Review Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) notices as they are released and determine whether they apply to the Information Systems environment. Perform routine system vulnerability scans on all network attached devices utilizing Tenable Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and all of its associated programs. Perform STIG and SCAP scans of systems. Review and monitor information being sent to the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) for irregular activity. Create work orders for relevant IAVM notices and vulnerability remediation to be worked by the Information Technology Support Services (ITSS) team. Implementation: Work with the ITSS team to maintain current and supported software versions on ACAS solution and the SIEM. Troubleshooting: Assist the ITSS team to research and remediate known and found system vulnerabilities. Security: Comply with all Air Force and USCYBERCOM Information Assurance policies, instructions, and directives. Perform TEMPEST inspections as needed. Documentation: Inspect and assist with correcting user folder documentation. Maintain and update TEMPEST drawings for all buildings. Maintain and update documents for all ATO/ATC packages within eMASS and XACTA. Job Requirements Qualifications: Must possess at time of start a minimum current final SECRET security clearance and be eligible for a TS/SCI security clearance. Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience (6 years) 1+ years of IT related experience is required Must possess at time of start a minimum IA Security certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M at the IAM-I level. Experience in security operations, incident response concepts and implementation and vulnerability management preferred Strong written and verbal communications skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels are required A professional attitude regarding attention to detail and customer service and excellent organizational skills are required The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to access sensitive information, which requires US citizenship.
