They will play a pivotal role in addressing complex regulatory and policy questions to enhance access to affordable, high-quality health care services. This position offers the opportunity to engage with a multidisciplinary practice and contribute to expanding Medicaid coverage and reimbursement.Duties:Conduct regulatory analysis and provide policy advising on Medicaid program matters.Address complex regulatory and policy questions pertaining to Medicaid, including coverage, reimbursement, managed care delivery systems, and section 1115 demonstration projects under the Social Security Act.Engage with various facets of the multidisciplinary practice to support projects enhancing access to affordable, high-quality health care services.Synthesize regulatory analysis for both legal and lay audiences.Perform legal research, analysis, and develop creative solutions to meet client and team needs.Requirements:2-4 years of health care regulatory experience, preferably with a focus on coverage and reimbursement.Experience with Medicaid regulatory and policy issues and/or complex questions of administrative law is preferred.Bar membership in good standing in the jurisdiction.Education & Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Skills:Strong interest and enthusiasm for Medicaid program issues and expanding access to affordable, high-quality health care services.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for legal and lay audiences.Attention to detail with exceptional legal research and analytical skills.Effective problem-solving capabilities with the ability to work independently and proactively.
