A prestigious law firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its team in a fully remote position. The role focuses on transactional real estate matters, including negotiating, drafting, and handling complex real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of commercial real estate, finance structures, and experience in representing lenders, investors, and other stakeholders.Duties:Draft, negotiate, and manage documentation for commercial real estate transactions, including office, retail, industrial, and hospitality properties.Structure and document real estate financing transactions, including mezzanine debt and combined debt/equity arrangements.Draft and manage documentation for equity investment structures, including institutional joint ventures, preferred equity, and sponsor-side promote structures.Handle conventional real estate debt financing transactions, including drafting multi-state legal opinions, mortgages, and security documents.Represent lenders, co-lenders, and intercreditor parties in various financing and transactional matters.Manage leasing contracts and transactions, ensuring all agreements are compliant and comprehensive.Review and prepare closing documents, development documentation, and handle title review.Negotiate title insurance policies.Requirements:3-5 years of experience in transactional real estate law.Proven experience in drafting and negotiating legal and financial documents for real estate transactions.Strong knowledge of commercial real estate transactions, including financing structures.Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and negotiation abilities.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in the relevant state(s).Skills:Proficient in drafting and reviewing real estate and financial documents.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Capable of managing high-volume work and meeting deadlines.Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.
