Position OverviewAutodesk Consulting is looking for an accomplished Business Consultant to provide construction consulting services to important customers in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) domain. You will work directly with customers to offer consulting services including process and workflow implementation strategy, software training and guidance and industry expertise.

This is a remote role, and you will report to Manager, Professional Services Consulting.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate excellence in engagement planning, business process optimization, and communications
Utilize construction industry experience to establish or improve customer processes using Autodesk Construction Cloud
Be a trusted partner for peers and customers; help prepare deliverables and manage execution
Manage processes, priorities, and deliverable work streams
Attend customer-facing meetings to facilitate workshops, lead strategy discussions, or present recommendations
Develop and implement plans for workflow assessment, configuration, and deployment of Autodesk Construction Cloud
Write documents including project schedules, summaries, procedure guides, process diagrams, flow charts, and best practices guides
Ensure that team members perform to the highest level of quality and professionalism
Advise in construction processes of proposed solutions, delivery methodology, and work breakdown tasks
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience plus Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering or related degree
At least 3+ years of experience working with BIM solutions, products, and standards
At least 3+ years of experience estimating and other preconstruction activities
Experience working with diversified technical, sales, and project management teams
Ability to break down complex topics into a common language understandable by non-technical/business-oriented audiences
Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time, including international travel
Knowledge of industry practices used in business process consulting
Previous consulting experience including organizational change management
Knowledge of cloud-based processing and technologies
Experience with BIM workflow processes between architects, engineers, and contractors; BIM management experience is desirable, especially with Design and Construction-based software

Salary TransparencySalary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $114,100 and $184,580. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
