This role requires excellent academic credentials, superior communication skills, and a commitment to client service.Job Duties:Assist in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications.Conduct in-depth patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses.Provide technical expertise in various scientific areas, including immunology, molecular biology, cell biology, virology, microbiology, oncology, gene editing, and gene therapy.Draft detailed technical descriptions and claims for patent applications.Collaborate with attorneys and clients to understand and meet patent strategy and business goals.Review scientific literature and analyze data to support patent prosecution and litigation.Participate in client meetings and provide updates on patent application status and strategy.Requirements:PhD (or MD with research experience) in immunology, molecular biology, cell biology, virology, microbiology, oncology, gene editing, gene therapy, or a related field.Post-doctoral experience is desirable.USPTO registration number is desirable.Superior academic credentials.Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.Education:PhD in immunology, molecular biology, cell biology, virology, microbiology, oncology, gene editing, gene therapy, or a related field.MD with research experience in the fields above is also acceptable.Certifications:Skills:Strong technical expertise in relevant scientific fields.Excellent research and analytical skills.Superior academic credentials.Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys and clients.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
