We are looking for an experienced Principal perioperative consultant to help design, configure, activate and support the implementation of Oracle Health Millennium solutions across Federal agencies including the Department of Defense, United States Coast Guard, Veterans Affairs and Indian Health Service. The Federal Consulting team is a group of hard-working, knowledgeable, passionate members who want to shape the electronic health records systems for active-duty service men and women, their beneficiaries, our Nation’s Veterans, American Indians, and Alaska Natives.Intermediate consulting position operating independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to a project team or customer that comply with Oracle methodologies and practices. Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications.Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.Minimum Requirements3-5+ years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles including knowledge and experience with the Oracle Health Perioperative product(s).Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus.Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients.Ability to travel as needed.At least 6 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:At least 1 year healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and/or other client-facing or information technology (IT) solution work experience.At least 5 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education.Experience with any of the following: Preference card, schedule appointment book, schaptbook, perioperative documentation, tracking board, anesthesia, SA anesthesia, dynamic documentation, provation, integrated case pick list, case cart coordinator, segments, powerforms, iview, interactive view, orders to scheduling, document type, anesthesia record, bridge, trackcore.Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Self-starter capable of independently handling tasks and projects.U.S. citizenship required due to client contracts and must be based on U.S. soil.Must be able to obtain the appropriate government security clearance card applicable to your position.ResponsibilitiesOperates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. May act as the team lead on projects. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and configures detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.Willing to travel up to 50% as needed. Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations.
