Job Description
Kearney & Company is hiring a Consultant to provide consulting services for a financial system implementation project executing strategies for organizational change management including tasks such as, business process reengineering, stakeholder management, communications, and training. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Provide hands-on functional consulting services and support to the project team.Participate and/or lead discussions with Subject Matter Experts and translate financial business processes to functional system requirementsProvide expertise related to federal business processes to support process reengineering and improvementUnderstand and represent the customer's needs in day-to-day tasksNavigate the customer culture executing stakeholder engagement and communications activitiesSupport, maintain, and monitor the internal project schedules that are aligned to the integrated master scheduleDevelop and obtain approval of current and/or future business process documentation related to system implementation including diagrams, narratives, procedures, etc., within the context of department and federal policies and regulationsParticipate and/or lead stakeholder engagement for discovery sessions identifying gaps between requirements/business processes and future system capabilitiesAssess current workforce and future workforce needs and execute a plan to meet the customer's workforce objectivesIdentify project risks/issues and the need for configuration managementCreate, plan, and execute training curriculum
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or ManagementFive years of related experienceDemonstrated critical thinking abilityStrong written and verbal communication skillsFour years of experience performing federal organizational change management tasks as described aboveExperience with federal financial, accounting, budget business processes or federal internal controlsProven experience executing strategies for effective workforce transition and/or experience on a federal financial process improvement project with the ability to identify efficiencies and provide recommendationsIntermediate understanding of Microsoft Visio and/or similar process flow softwareAbility to obtain and maintain U.S. Security Clearance (requires U.S. Citizenship)Preferred Qualifications:Federal consulting experience centered around business process improvement or executionKnowledge of and/or experience with financial systems/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or system implementationsDemonstrated understanding of the dynamics of a federal financial workforceChange management experience supporting at least one federal financial system implementationExperience applying federal financial regulations to include OMB Circulars (A-11, A-123, A-127, and A-136), Federal Managers' Financial Integrity Act (FMFIA), and Federal Financial Management Improvement Act (FFMIA).Six Sigma Certification (green, black, or yellow)LI-Remote

This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
