Job Overview:
A law firm specializing in insurance litigation seeks a motivated Insurance Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of experience in complex litigation and coverage matters, mainly focused on first-party property insurance coverage claims. The ideal candidate will join a dynamic team dedicated to representing clients in insurance disputes at various stages of litigation.Duties:Manage a caseload of insurance litigation matters, primarily first-party property insurance coverage claims.Conducted legal research and analysis and drafted pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy, including conducting depositions and preparing for hearings and trials.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admitted to practice law in California; eligibility for admission considered if not currently admitted.2-4 years of relevant experience in insurance litigation, preferably focusing on first-party property insurance coverage claims.Strong academic credentials.Certifications/Bar Admissions:Admission to the State Bar of California required.Admission to other State Bars is advantageous.Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Proficiency in legal research tools and software.Additional Preferred Qualifications:Experience with insurance defense litigation.Demonstrated success in handling depositions, hearings, and trials.Prior experience in a law firm environment preferred.Company infoCorporate Real Estate AttorneyLos AngelesSeeking a Corporate Real Estate Attorney with a minimum of five years of experience.
