New York Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney

We are seeking a New York Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney to join our quickly growing practice located in Paramus, New Jersey!The job will entail representing carriers and third party administrators in all phases of litigation. Prior Workers' Compensation experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to fully train/mentor the right candidate!Our office will provide plenty of career advancement opportunities. In exchange for your commitment to work hard, our promise is to show up, challenge you and work just as hard to support and guide you along the way.The first two months of employment will require full time in-person office attendance but once training is complete, a hybrid working schedule will be available.Responsibilities:Appear for hearings at the New York Workers' Compensation court (currently, all hearings are being conducted virtually).Attend telephonic depositions with medical providersPrepare and draft appeals and summation briefsResearch applicable areas of Workers’ Compensation lawQualifications:Candidate must be licensed in New York (NJ License is a plus)Strong analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent writing, researching, negotiating and verbal communication skills are crucial.This is a full-time position offering health benefits and a 401(k) (with match).
