This position collaborates with business partners across client facing divisions, product/ project management, analytics, operations, and IT to enable data-driven strategic decisions. This position identifies enhancement opportunities for existing visualization products and supports new product development.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze or produce reports of varied claims data to assess Prime’s products and/or programs; utilize analytics to explore data, identify trends, and draw insights from multi-faceted and high dimensional dataAssist stakeholders in achieving objectives through the development of prototype and production-supported metrics and dashboard visualizationsAct as a business intelligence and visualization subject matter expert by training and supporting clients and team members in the creation of visualizations, along with the use and interpretation of dataCollaborate with internal stakeholders to define business requirements and develop/document solution design; develop strategic partnerships with various levels of leadership and analyst teams within the organizationSupport enterprise adoption of Tableau software by educating stakeholders on how to leverage the dashboards and reporting features; recommend solutions or data formatting in both internal and external presentations and provide visualization tool training to resources to the businessConduct maintenance and fine-tuning of dashboard design; support the business in the identification and mitigation of data issues; apply industry best practices to the management and maintenance of visualization designMay coach and provide guidance to other members of the teamStays abreast of and shares industry best practices, information and technology; establishes relationships with technology vendors to influence product pipeline; gain deeper insights in how best to utilize adopted productsOther duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, computer sciences or business/social and behavioral science or related area of study, or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required5 years of work experience in business intelligence, building visualizations/dashboards based upon large data sets and/or experience working with complex queries3 years of experience with dashboard generating technologies (like Tableau (v9.0 or higher), Tibco Spotfire, Qlik View, etc.)Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorshipAdditional QualificationsDemonstrated understanding of data modeling, data analysis, and data management principles using SQL, SAS, and other related technologiesStrong project management background and ability to work with developers, testers, designers, and other disciplines of development workExcellent communication and cross functional collaboration skillsEnhanced organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneouslyDemonstrated ability to problem solve and interpret complex dataAbility to establish rapport and effectively influence at all levels within an organizationPreferred Qualifications7 years of work experience in business intelligence, building visualizations/dashboards based upon large data sets and/or experience working with complex queriesExperience in Big Data and Data AnalyticsFamiliarity with Atlassian stack (Confluence and JIRA)Knowledge of Tableau optimization and tuningBusiness Intelligence consulting experiencePrior experience with data consolidation and modelingPrior PBM experience or experience working with medical claims, pharmacy claims, healthcare and/or benefits dataExperience in the implementation of quality process improvement effortsMinimum Physical Job RequirementsConstantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hearFrequently required to reach with hands and armsOccasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouchOccasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 poundsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focusReporting StructureReports to Principal, Manager, Director, or Sr Director in the Health Outcomes, Pharmacy Audit, Pricing, Planning & Analysis, Clinical Operations, Operations Planning & Delivery, or PBM Operations departmentsPotential pay for this position ranges from $85,600.00 - $128,400.00 based on experience and skills.
