We are an 8 bed Level III NICU that helps meet the complex needs of our community.
Management of patients having or requiring:
§ Born at EGA of ≥ 28 weeks (± 2 weeks)
§ Respiratory distress/failure requiring conventional ventilation or lesser degree of respiratory support (CPAP, NC, High flow/Low Flow, NIV)
§ Readmission for convalescent management of infants post-retinal, post neurosurgery, and post pediatric surgery
§ Any seizures or seizure like activity
Management of care prior to transfer of newborns with congenital:
§ Gastro-intestinal lesions
§ Heart disease that may need cardiothoracic surgery management
§ Neurological lesions (except for a prenatally diagnosed vein of Galen malformation) that may need neurosurgery management
§ Urological lesions (and without the pregnancy being complicated by anhydramnios/oligohydramnios) that may need urological surgery management
§ Metabolic disorders

Graduate of a nursing program
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable. Bachelor's degree preferred. Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred.
