If present trends continue, by 2050 air conditioning electricity consumption will be bigger than the combined electricity consumption of China and India today!
Blue Frontiers patented AC system combines liquid desiccant dehumidification with indirect evaporative cooling to reduce electricity use by up to 90%. The desiccant is recharged and stored when electricity is the cleanest or lowest cost, and later used to deliver cooling when electricity is polluting or costly. These features enable our system to solve an array of todays largest sustainability problems while improving indoor comfort and occupant health.
Role Overview:
As an Experienced Project Manager - HVAC (Commercial HVAC Project Manager) reporting directly to our EVP of Field and Customer Services, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of HVAC projects incorporating advanced liquid desiccant cooling systems. The Project Manager - HVAC role will involve managing project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring high-level communication with customers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
The Project Manager - HVAC will lead and manage the implementation of pilot projects using liquid desiccant cooling technology.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met efficiently and effectively.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications, Skills and Abilities
Proven experience as a Project Manager in the commercial HVAC industry.
Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is required.
Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering preferred with minimum of 8 years of project management experience.
Strong background in emerging HVAC technologies, specifically liquid desiccant cooling/dehumidification systems, is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of high-level customer engagement.
The attitude and personality to thrive in a fast-moving venture-funded startup environment, with a drive to build a team within a growing company.
Certified Energy Manager (CEM) is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
This is full-time position based out of our Boca Raton, FL headquarters. Up to 50% travel (US) is required
