About the Role:As a Lead Toddler Teacher at Crystal's Cuddle Bugs Childcare Center, you will play a crucial role in shaping the minds of our youngest learners. You will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment where toddlers can learn and grow. Your main objective will be to provide a stimulating and engaging curriculum that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development. You will work closely with parents and caregivers to ensure that each child's individual needs are met, and that they are prepared for the next stage of their educational journey.Lead Toddler Teacher
Minimum Qualifications:Associate's/Bach degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or CDA or other DHS qualifying certificationState certification in Early Childhood EducationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively with other teachers and staffLead Toddler Teacher Preferred Qualifications:Experience with diverse populations and inclusive classroomsExperience working with toddlers in a classroom settingExperience with emergent curriculum and play-based learningKnowledge of child development and early childhood education best practicesLead Toddler Teacher Responsibilities:Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets the needs of each childCreate a safe and nurturing environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive developmentObserve and document each child's progress and communicate with parents and caregivers regularlyCollaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and effective learning environmentMaintain a clean and organized classroom that is conducive to learningSkills:As a Lead Toddler Teacher, you will use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with parents and caregivers. You will also use your creativity and flexibility to develop and implement a curriculum that meets the needs of each child. Your ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff will be essential in creating a cohesive and effective learning environment. Additionally, your knowledge of child development and early childhood education best practices will inform your daily work, as you observe and document each child's progress and adjust your curriculum accordingly.
