Certification Details Certification Requirements: ACLS, BCLS required Job Details Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30). Periop/OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a $3.00 bill rate bump per hour First Time travelers Accepted: Yes Shift Requirements: 3x12s, every other weekend required Skillset Requirements: Telemetry and IV Start required Floating Requirements: YES Minimum Experience Required: 18 months Department Details: Unit Information: 1:6 ratio Medical-Surgical: Majority are medical patients (COPD exacerbation, PNA, COVID-19, chest pain, small bowel obstruction, etc. Small surgical case load (roughly 1-3 post-surgical cases/day) including gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, colectomy, mastectomy, appendectomy, cholecystectomy.
