SVP Operations - NYC BranchPosition SummaryThis senior leadership position oversees and manages a large security guard service business throughout the five boroughs of New York City and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational and strategic activities within the branch operations. Working with a dynamic entrepreneur/CEO and COO and an industry experienced corporate executive team, this position involves strategic planning, people leadership, optimization of resources, and ensuring operational excellence and efficiency in all operational functions.ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic direction and leadership to branch operations; serve as a key resource across the entire operational structure.Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to measure performance and identify areas for improvementBuild and maintain strong relationships with key clients to understand their security needs and expectations. Ensure exceptional customer service delivery and address any client concerns or issues promptly and effectively.Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing operations team capable of delivering superior service. Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to team members to foster professional growth and development.Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing security operations. Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.Partner with CFO and COO to effectively and efficiently manage the operational budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve financial targets.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Security Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in field security operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.Proven track record of driving operational excellence and achieving results in a fast-paced environment.Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their full potential.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients, stakeholders, and team members.In-depth knowledge of security industry regulations, best practices, and emerging trends.Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and cost control.Relevant certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) preferred.
