The ideal candidate will be responsible for purchasing a variety of items including Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E), linen, duvet, and other related materials. This is a permanent position and offers a fantastic opportunity to oversee and manage the entire purchasing department. The Purchasing Manager will be a key player in driving the company's procurement activities, ensuring that all purchases contribute to the company's success and growth.Responsibilities:As a Purchasing Manager, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities:1. Oversee and manage all purchasing activities for the company, including FF&E, linen, duvet, and other related materials.2. Develop and implement purchasing strategies to ensure the company's operational needs are met.3. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts and prices to ensure the best possible terms.4. Monitor and track purchasing trends, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.5. Collaborate with other departments to forecast future procurement needs and ensure adequate inventory levels.6. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.7. Manage and mentor the purchasing team, promoting a positive and productive work environment.Qualifications:To be considered for the role of Purchasing Manager, you should have the following qualifications:1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a purchasing role, preferably in a managerial capacity.2. Proven experience with FF&E, linen, duvet, and other related purchasing.3. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation.4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.5. Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing and mentoring a team.8.
