ServiceNow Developer
Location
: Hybrid role with 1-2 days on-site in Ashburn, VA
*This role requires a public trust clearance to be obtained
The ServiceNow Developer will be accountable for:
Development in a ServiceNow environment
Recommending best solutions to automate existing and new functionality based on ServiceNow offered applications and modules.
Activation and configuration of ServiceNow applications to meet business needs.
Development of workflows and scripts to personalize existing ServiceNow applications.
Working closely with customers to research, design, develop and deliver innovative solutions to improve their business processes.
Assisting in the identification of best practices for development of new and existing ServiceNow applications
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software applications, systems integration, and multiple platforms.
Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards.
Requirements
4+ years’ experience developing on the ServiceNow platform
3+ years of IT application system experience in technology solution delivery
3+ years of experience with platform customization in relevant delivery platforms
2+ yrs of experience developing and customizing core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and Service Catalog
3+ years of experience working and developing with JavaScript - HTML5, Jelly, jQuery and AngularJS
3+ year experience leading and mentoring Junior ServiceNow team members
3+ years experience implementing systems using the Agile/Scrum methodology.
US Citizenship required (required by federal government for this position).
ServiceNow Certification preferred
