The primary purpose of this position is to provide high quality catering services to members and guests of Trinity Woods. The Catering Coordinator is responsible for the marketing, planning, and outreach of our catering services while providing excellent customer service and enforcing food safety standards.
Maintains attitudes and behaviors that demonstrate and uphold the Mission Statement of Trinity Woods and supports the core values and shows an understanding of Trinity Woods’ person-centered philosophy.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GEDMinimum of one (1) year catering experienceCertification in food handlingAbility to work in independently in a fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsBasic marketing skills; ability to promote TW catering services through promotional materials, menu planning, and customer outreach.Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and ExcelResponsibilities:
Provide the highest quality of food service while ensuring safe, sanitary and efficient practices supporting professional standards of dining and nutrition services for TW residents and guests.
Primary contact for customers requesting information regarding TW Catering ServicesReceive and process all catering orders and meet with customers to review order detailsAttend weekly meetings with the Executive Chef, Dining Director, or others to discuss menu plan and execution for special eventsOrganize and coordinate an event timeline, ensuring that service runs smoothly and efficientlyCoordinate and oversee set-up and breakdownMaintain high personal grooming standards and professional demeanorPunctuality in daily work times, appointments, and meetingsKeep workspace and surrounding areas neat and clean while following all safety and sanitation proceduresMaintain an open dialog with member services, life enrichment, and the wellness department to plan and organize campus wide eventOther Duties as assigned
