You must be proficient at the Systems Quotation Process, order reception, contract review and preparation stages to order management.Role and Responsibilities:Quotes and supports sales of material handling systems to current and prospective customers.Maintains quote load with respect issuance date and backlog load
Receives written and verbal project specifications, analyzes information and devices machine and system selection.
Observes project requirements, consults with engineering and legal departments to prepare adherent offeringsContacts suppliers to source pricing and technical information for quotations or for purchase on projects, per quote/job. Uses best attempts to negotiate better pricing whenever possible.
Uses CRM to provide project references, updated information, concludes with proper conversion to SAP upon orderUses engineering/design productivity tools (i.e., AutoCad,) to prepare or delegate preparation of computer-generated drawings from layouts, rough sketches or concepts to support quotation.Produces soundly-priced, value offerings
Produces cost sheets to illustrate project sales and profit margins for near-sale large or contested projectsProduces project schedule in support of quotation when requestedGives technical backup in Sales presentations, on line and in person in support of Sales Managers and representatives.Meets with customers, installation contractors, and area representatives in field for sales calls and site review.Analyses Purchase Orders for contract review, pricing reconciliation, project execution details, commitment and scopeProvides validated order hand-off to Project Management, attending order entry meetingProvides input for department quotation systemEstablishes and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors and OEMs.Understands installation services and how to estimate pricingUses systems sizing and presentation toolsGives engineering input on design of layout, assemblies or components.Organizes and facilitates order entry with Project Management and CCC department.Participates in weekly Production Services and Sales meetingsMaintains back-up and archival filesMaintains quality service internal /external customers by enforcing quality and customer service standards and resolving urgent concerns timely.
Qualifications:5+ years previous project management related experience in a manufacturing or construction materials environment · Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills· Excellent written and verbal communication skills· Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and ERP Systems. Experience in with other related project management software.· Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience· SAP (ERP) business system practical experienceInterested in hearing more?
