Pay rate: $43.94-53.90 (depending on level of qualifications)Primary Purpose of PositionPerforms skilled electrical work in the inspection, repair, testing, adjustment, installation and removal of nuclear power plant equipment.
Primary Duties and AccountabilitiesRepair and maintain electrical equipment such as motors, generators, station batteries, fire detection & suppression systems, circuit breakers & switchgear, controls and relays, Battery Chargers, Power Inverters, Motor Operated Valve Actuators, switches & other electrical distribution equipment.Assist electrical technicians of higher classification in the performance of their duties.Make routine inspections of electrical equipment during outages and report conditions found.
Minimum QualificationsHigh School diploma or GEDAbility to pass pre-employment EEI TECH testAbility to work different shiftsAbility to receive unescorted Nuclear accessExcellent communication, teamwork and organizational skillsAND at least one of the following requirements below:Associates degree in a technical fieldThree years related Electrical military experienceThree years Electrical Industrial Craft Maintenance experience that includes completing a bona fide trades training programFive years Electrical Industrial Craft Maintenance experience
