To maintain a clean, sanitary, comfortable and tidy environment for residents and association common area.

Sweep, scrub, mop and polish floorsVacuum clean carpets, rugs and draperiesSpot clean carpets, rugs and upholsteryDust and polish furniture and fittingsClean metal fixtures and fittingsEmpty and clean trash containersDispose of trash in a sanitary mannerClean wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showersWipe down glass surfacesMake up beds and change linens as requiredTidy up roomsMaintain proper restroom sanitationSet up for events and meetingsWash windows as scheduledSort, wash, load and unload laundryIron and press clothing and linenSort, fold and put away clean laundryOperate vacuum cleanerMaintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working conditionMonitor and report necessary domestic repairs and replacementsClean the rooms, common areas of the building, office, corridors, lobbies, stairways, elevators, pool and spa areas, gym and the grounds on a daily basis.Respond to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills, broken glassesOrganize and restock cart at the end of the shiftEnsure confidentiality and security of resident roomsFollow all company safety and security proceduresReport any maintenance issues or safety hazardsObserve and report damage of resident propertyRequirements
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methodsKnowledge of laundry equipment and their proper use as well as ironing and pressing.Knowledge of cleaning sensitive materialsWorking knowledge of operating cleaning equipmentPhysical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bendAbility to lift, push and pull required load (usually about 30lbs)Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
Language Skills:
The individual must have strong written communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with employees and clients at all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing.
