The First Shift Cell Leader (Materials Management) coordinates product flow for all incoming shipments in an accurate and efficient manner following established guidelines.

The Cell leader is responsible for providing day-to-day leadership to associates while working as a member of the team who can drive significant impact to the organization. This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.

This Cell leader is part of the Pall Aerospace Materials Department and will be located onsite in New Port Richey, FL. Pall Corporation's vision is to create a future where innovation connects, empowers, and emboldens humanity.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to

Provide day-to-day leadership to associates while working as a member of the team. Communicate key messages to the team and lead daily stand-up / shift start-up meetings. Schedule work / assignments required to meet company goals and customer required deliveries. Review and approve daily time and attendance and approve time off requests.

Supervise and coordinate activities of the stockroom associates engaged in monitoring of product replenished on a Kanban or order point basis; receipt shipments; storage, picking, and delivery of product; entry of data into various computer systems and cycle counting/physical inventory.

Monitors and tracks inventory and reports information to the management team. Drive 5S improvements for optimum organization and cleanliness of the stockrooms. Meet daily with manufacturing, production control, inventory control, and quality to coordinate the activities of the day.

The essential requirements of the job include:

High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years of work experience in manufacturing material management, including at least 3 years of supervisory or team leader experience.

This is a very physical role with extended standing, sitting, lifting (up to 30 lbs.), bending, and includes the use of stairs, scissor lifts / elevated work platforms.

Prior experience using SAP, Excel and MS Word.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Multi-tasking, problem solving, material management and staff supervision
