My client is a Private Single-Family Office with a strong (20+ year) pedigree and impressive track record. They have in excess of $6B AUM. In addition to their five offices in Europe, they opened their Boston office in 2019. They have ambitious growth plans in the coming years and as part of their longer-term strategy, the need for a public equities analyst/ trader has arisen.

Job Description
Reporting into the CEO of the USA, the Junior Equities Analyst in supporting the management of a large, multi-million dollar public equities portfolio on behalf of a Boston based, prestigious Family Office. Whilst the trades will be made by the Director, this position will be responsible for trade supoport, idea generation, in depth financial analysis, market monitoring and formulating and presenting market recommendations. Main duties and responsibilities will include the following:
Offer daily support to the Portfolio Manager of a value/income focused US equities portfolioManage administration for trade reconciliations, confirmations, and settlements and resolve trade issues with counter party and back-office supportMonitor portfolio risk, and assist with asset allocation, portfolio modeling, reporting, and analyticsUtilize the core investment criteria to screen companies for further reviewProvide real-time monitoring of portfolio activity and relay important points of feedback to key decision-makersContribute to the production of internal research, including quarterly earnings reviews, and manage the related document libraryAssist with presentations to internal and external stakeholders for both portfolio strategy and performance reportingRefine portfolio monitoring and reporting processes to develop and implement enhancements to systemsPerform other duties and responsibilities as required by the positionOver time, the candidate is expected to take ownership of fundamental equity analysis and contribute to strategic direction.
Perform fundamental research and analysis on existing portfolio companiesGenerate new ideas in US listed equities for inclusion in firm's focus listCommunicate views on market conditions and individual holdings to the Investment CommitteePlease note that this is not a remote opportunity and a presence in the office in Downtown Boston is required.
