User-Centered Design (UCD):
Applying UCD principles to complex interface problems.Visual Interface Design:
Experience in designing for web, mobile, and in-vehicle displays.Prototyping:
Ability to create wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes.UX Research:
Conducting and analyzing user research to inform design decisions.Collaboration:
Working with cross-functional teams including engineering, software development, marketing, and business leaders.Communication:
Effectively communicating design concepts, research methodology, data analysis, and test results to stakeholders.
Technical Skills
UX Metrics:
Using UX metrics to provide insights to product engineering groups.Design Tools:
Proficiency with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.Technology and Product Development:
Understanding of technology and product development processes.
Additional Skills
Mentorship:
Mentoring and coaching less-experienced UX designers.Branding:
Incorporating branding and common design guidelines into products.Accessibility:
Applying design principles in terms of user flows, accessibility, and visual hierarchy.Emerging Trends:
Monitoring and adopting relevant emerging design trends.
Education
Bachelor's Degree:
In Human Factors, Graphic Design, Interaction/Visual Design, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience
4+ Years:
Planning, executing, and analyzing UX design projects.4+ Years:
Visual interface design for web and mobile.4+ Years:
