Under limited supervision, works and communicates with the general public, internal customers and/or external customers to provide information and recommendations targeted to meet customer expectations. Resolves highly complicated issues involving customer service and/or conducts advanced research on governing policies, procedures or laws to respond to clients or visitors.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Provides high level administrative support to the Program DirectorHelps with problem resolution to claimants, including employers, staff, clients, outside agencies, and the public.Assists with resolution of detailed programmatic and personnel issues and questions.Acts as a representative for the Director at meetings, organizational functions, and to community and partner organizations. Including County Board of Health meetings, the Community Advisory Board, etc.Manage sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality and discretion, especially decisions directly impacting the operations of the center.Sustains a calendar of meetings and events for the center and the Director.Prepare Word, Excel, PowerPoint presentations, agendas, reports, special projects and other documents in support of objectives for the organization, including maintaining all contracts and memorandums of understanding (MOU).Drafts and prepares correspondence for internal announcements and meetings for the Director.Supports routine administrative functions for the Director and agency, including travel, vendors, telecommunications, contracts, purchasing, personnel, etc.Documents (e.g. logs, posts, records, etc.) data/information such as organizational unit or program area work activity, productivity, budget expenditures, investigative reports, and resource utilization.Evaluate and monitor program services and operational efficiency by conducting audits and analysis and preparing reports or recommendations for improvement. Provides technical assistance and program information to customers.Gathers detailed or confidential information, conducts interviews, etc.May assist in the operation, management and planning of the organization.Provides assistance and problem resolution to claimants, employers, staff, other agencies, and/or the general public.Performs job responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university AND Three years of advanced experience in a customer service setting communicating information OR Five years of advanced experience in a customer service setting communicating information OR Two years of experience required at the lower level Customer Svc Rep 3 (GST122) or position equivalent.Additional Information
