Pain Management Physician / Neurologist Baltimore MDFull time or Part timeWe are seeking a compassionate Pain Management Physician to join our medical practice in Baltimore, MD. We value our patients and truly want to listen to them and offer comprehensive care, so we schedule new patient appointments for 30-45 min blocks and follow up appointments in 30 min time frames. Our ideal Physician has tact and skill in patient management, excellent communication skills, and enjoys working as a part of a comprehensive team to offer our patients the best care possible, that they need and deserve! The Physician has a dedicated team to work alongside them including a PA and a scribe/MA. Our ideal Physician has tact and skill in patient management, excellent communication skills, can mentor and supervise staff, and enjoys working as a part of a comprehensive team to offer our patients the best care possible, that they need and deserve! We will consider Pain Management (General or Interventional) or Neurologists for this position. We can accommodate a physician looking for either a full time or part time position, covering our offices in the greater Baltimore area.

Job Duties:
Patient care and managementRecommend tests and conducts diagnostic testing to determine extent of injury and to determine appropriate treatment.Order Diagnostic labs/imaging- in house computerized neurocognitive testing, specifically ImPACT testingOversee the patient’s diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuriesPrepare patients for return to work after illness or injuryWe treat a high number of personal injury patients who have been injured on the job or due to the negligence of another and, therefore, the timeliness and accuracy of documentation and reports are paramount. Duties include proffering testimony on behalf of some patients treated.Documentation- timely and accurateOrder/refer to in house vestibular, cognitive, and aquatic therapyCollaboration with colleagues and staff for comprehensive patient carePain Management- Perform interventional pain procedures if trained
Requirements:
MD/DO from an accredited educational institutionUnrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of MarylandBCBE Interventional Pain Physician, General Pain Management, or NeurologistFavorable malpractice historyBasic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certificationDEA license
Schedule:
Full time Monday- Friday or Part time at 3 days per weekNo Call or Weekends!
Salary:
$250/hr$325k - $425k base (Depending on specialty) plus additional compensation for depositions, IME’s, and narrativesBenefits:
